Responsibilities
- Internship Program Development:
- Collaborate with academic departments to identify and create internship opportunities relevant to students' fields of study.
- Research and establish partnerships with organizations to expand the pool of internship opportunities for emerging scholars.
- Coordination and Placement:
- Work closely with students to understand their career goals and match them with suitable internship opportunities.
- Facilitate the placement process, ensuring a smooth transition for both students and host organizations.
- Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, fostering collaboration for future internship opportunities.
- Serve as the main point of contact for both students and host organizations throughout the internship experience.
- Program Evaluation:
- Collect feedback from students and host organizations to assess the effectiveness of the internship program.
- Use data and insights to continually improve and enhance the internship experience for emerging scholars.
- Communication and Promotion:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote internship opportunities to students.
- Create marketing materials and presentations to showcase the benefits of the internship program to potential host organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in program coordination, preferably in an educational or internship context.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic departments, students, and industry partners.
